Do we need to install anything?
No. SIMRACE runs in the browser. You log in and start.
What equipment is needed?
A laptop for race control and ideally a screen or projector for the TV view. Athletes use their own phones.
How do participants get in?
Import from Excel or add them manually. Class, format and start preference come along.
How long does setup take?
With an entry list ready, you are running in under half an hour.
Can we change heats mid-day?
Yes. Move athletes between lanes and heats at any time — the screens update immediately.
What if we register a wrong time?
Correct it. The change is logged with old and new value in the audit log.
Can several people work at once?
Editing happens from the signed-in account. TV and participant views can be opened on any number of devices.
What if the laptop crashes?
The event lives in the cloud and is backed up continuously. Log in on another machine and continue.
How do athletes see their heat?
Through the QR code on the bib, or a shared link. No app, no login.
Can we turn the public views off?
Yes, TV and participant sharing can be switched on and off per event.
Can we show our own logo?
Yes, event branding can be customised and reused.
Where is our data stored?
In a cloud database tied to your account. Only signed-in organizers can edit.
What personal data is handled?
Athlete names, class, format, race number and times. See the privacy policy for details.
Can we delete an event?
Yes. You can export the event first and then delete it.
